Mission Novakai is the public-facing name of Novakai Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Florida. Contact us at missionnovakai@gmail.com.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide through community, resource, event, contact, volunteer, partnership, media and newsletter forms, including name, email, phone, location, organization, interests, application details and messages. We may also receive browser, device, approximate location, referral, page-view, interaction and security-log information. Payment card information is handled by the applicable payment provider and is not stored by Mission Novakai through this website.
How we use information
- Respond to requests and provide requested communications.
- Review resources, applications, volunteers, partnerships and submissions.
- Operate events, programs, directories and community-impact reporting.
- Protect the website, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations and improve services.
Public map and directory
Personal contact information is not displayed on the public impact map. The map uses generalized location data and aggregated counts. Resource listings show only approved public-facing information. Never submit passwords, Social Security numbers, banking credentials or medical records through general forms.
Sharing
We may share information with vendors that provide hosting, data storage, email, analytics, events and donation processing; when legally required; or to protect safety, rights and property. External services such as Zeffy operate under their own privacy terms. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and analytics
We may use essential browser storage and limited analytics to remember preferences, measure visits, understand useful pages, prevent abuse and improve performance. We do not knowingly use this website to build advertising profiles.
Email and text messages
Promotional or informational email and text messages are optional. Consent to texts is not a condition of donating, participating or receiving services. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Use the email unsubscribe link or reply STOP to texts. See Email & Text Terms.
Retention and choices
We retain information only as reasonably needed for the stated purposes, safety, legal duties, disputes and nonprofit records. You may ask to access, correct or delete information or withdraw optional consent by emailing us. We may verify requests and retain records when legally or operationally necessary.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted transmission, restricted administrative access, server-side credentials and limited public data. No online system guarantees absolute security. Report concerns through our Security page.
Children and international visitors
The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information without appropriate authorization. Youth programs may use separate consent and safety procedures. Information submitted from outside the United States may be processed in the United States.
Changes
We may update this policy as the organization and website grow. The effective date identifies the latest version.
